After Haj Subsidy, They need Baggage Subsidy as well!

28/12/2007 10:14:52 HKJeddah: Islamic Scholars say “The Hajj makes Muslims feel real importance of life here on earth, and the afterlife, by stripping away all markers of social status, wealth, and pride.”We the generous Indians also contribute a portion of our Tax Money, for our Muslim Brothers to conduct this Haj Pilgrimage in the name of “Haj Subsidy”- Thinking those who go for Haj will return back as an ideal citizen who strips away all markers of social status, wealth, and pride. But many few know that their prime concern is shopping and not the so called pilgrimage which we give Subsidy!“Air India has left nearly 130 Haj pilgrims from India stranded at Saudi Arabia's Jeddah airport after the flight they were scheduled to board took off without them” laments our National Dailies. The Haji’s who went to Haj by taking Subsidy from our pockets were denied boarding as they were not ready to pay the excess baggage ! Usually if flying by Commercial flights only 20 kg of checked-in luggage and seven kg of hand baggage are allowed, But those going with Haj Subsidy under Govt. of India are getting an added benefit of 45 kg of checked-in luggage and 10 kgs as hand baggage free of cost.Even after this added allowance on baggage they still want the Government to pay for their excess baggage!

Shopping SubsidyCome on you guys - they need the electronic goods to be good muslims. Where else do you expect them to hide the bombs - have you any idea how many kafirs will continue to live in peace because of this - so unislamic really.

Baggage subsidyC'mon my hindu brothers. Try to understand. The haji'leave india with a big wish list to bring electronics, clothes, chinese made electrical items back to India. They pray so hard that god gives all these things free of charge. Obviously they have to squeeze us tax payers to uplift all these goods. After all it is only once in a life time that they get to go for shopping...ooopsss...I am sorry... for haj.....This is the height of hypocracy. (1) Longer the beard...bigger the ego.(2) THe more fanatic they are ...the chances of sitting on the right hand side of Allah becomes more ...after death.. THat is why they are eager to blow themselves up...to sit on the right hand side. I have working in the middle east for 17 years and I can tell you...many of our spiritually charged brothers offer their prayers in Mecca and vanish off and emerge as Mr. Hajikutty of Malappuram district after a couple of years. By then he has illegaly done business like money laundering, black marketing and pimping and make tons of money and build a mansion in Keral anad rent it out to the movie industry. There is a lot to learn from this religion. The mor

Baggage Subsidy Next subsidy is for their daily defecation I suppose. sonia, arjun, lalloo, mulayam, ysr, chandrababu, manmohan, pratibha, karuna, budda, amarsing, yechury, carrot, gowda, chidambaram, jaya etc will arrange free washing for their bottoms by taxing Hindu pilgrims visiting Temples and reducing subsidy to dying Hindu farmers.

haj subsidyDon't be surprised if this immoral government gives in to the demands of this rabid group at the expense of tax payers. its not their money, its not out of the loot they have been stealing from the country

The undying sense of want.
A religion, if it is to have the intended effect on one, should transform one into a spiritual person, meaning, one should be progressively detached from things material. While Islam might not even qualify as a religion because it does not seem to have as its aim the idea of man transforming into a spiritual being, with its aim actually being only to make the individual a die hard slave of Allah, the case is not the same in Hinduism. Hinduism is nothing if its aim is not spiritual. Therefore I've always wondered why, for instance, any individual should need for than one tin of aravana payasam? Unabating greed seems to manifest when Ayyappas desire to take home as many as 10 tins or more. “For the others who have not made the pilgrimage”, one might say. I am not arguing on this, for reasons can always be aplenty. But the point is, much thoughts of ‘wanting’ seem to float at temple darshans when pilgrimages should actually reduce our sense of want.

L.K. Advani : BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate

10/12/2007 08:43:12 KaumudiNEW DELHI:
The BJP has named former deputy prime minister and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha LK Advani as the party's prime ministerial candidate.Party president Rajnath Singh made the announcement after a meeting of the BJP's highest decision-making body, the Parliamentary Board, on Monday.According to sources, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee endorsed Advani's candidature and the Board unanimously picked Advani for the post

K.Venugopal 12/12/2007 04:44:52
Advani - Man with capital M
Advani is Swami Vivekananda's and Guruji's Man with a capital M. Character is best measured when the going is bad. When the going is good everybody shines. The whole Jinnah controversy arose because we reacted to twisted newspaper reports about Advani's comments without waiting for Advani to clarify. To have called him a traitor was the most unkindest cut of all. And finally we got him to relinquish his post. But he bore it all because he has a faith in Sangha that we would be unable to measure. Never once did he criticize Sangha while all the time standing by what he said. Truly, a man with the courage of his convictions. I wish also to say that we have much to learn from Vajpayeeji. He is an Ajatashatru par excellence. Truly a man with abundance of Susheelam, as taught in our Prarthana. Further, even as PM many times he declared that he is a swayamsevak first and foremost. Let us, therefore, under their able leadership, give all support to BJP so that it can come to power in the Centre and put the nationalistic course of our nation back on track.

Menon 11/12/2007 16:48:57
So much hope in Mr. AdvaniI have so much hope in Mr. Advani. BJP could have given the reign to him before they left last time.He can make big change in India's history. We need a vibrant leader at this difficult time.
Praveen Komath 11/12/2007 02:54:04
Let us work together towards BJP's victory in the next parliamentary elections It is indeed great news to hear that Shri Advaniji will be the prime ministerial candidate for the on-coming Pariament elections which is due in 2009 but which could also be held much earlier since the UPA boat might capsize any moment with the leftists ready to bid farewell to the UPA over the nuclear row. Indeed Advaniji is the right person to represent India vis-a-vis the international arena. With his towering personality and positive body-language, he is the 'Yug Purush' of our times. With the right mixture of political alliances, the backing of various Sangh organisations and aggressive campaigning, the BJP can come back to power.Let each one of us commited towards the hindutwa cause make sure that votes are cast in favour of the NDA candidates.
B.R.Haran 11/12/2007 02:34:35
L.K.Adwani: BJP's PM candidateThe BJP parliamentary board, with the fullest blessings of former Prime Minister Mr.Vajpayee, had unanimously chosen and announced Mr.Adwani as the Prime ministerial candidate for the forthcoming Parliament Elections. Mr.Adwani is one of the rarest, clean handed politicians of our country known for his honesty & integrity with an impeccable behavioral track record spanning more than four decades and he has been instrumental along with Mr.Vajpayee, in the phenomenal growth of BJP in a short span of time. His performance as Deputy Prime Minister during the NDA regime was exemplary. But, unlike Mr.Vajpayee, he had always faced a hostile media, which had branded him as a "hardliner" and a champion of the so-called "Hindutva" in its attempt to foist a false image on him. The media, which had tried and failed many times to create a rift between Vajpayee & Adwani, must be hanging its head in shame now, since this new announcement had emanated from none other than Mr.Vajpayee. Hereafter, the media will forget Gujarat & Modi, as the BJP's victory is written on the wall, particularly after the "merchant of death" debacle by Sonia & "Hindu Terrorists" fiasco by Digvijay, and will focus on Ayodya, Babri demolition and the consequent riots. The media will use its might to rock the NDA boat and spoil the newly emerging alliances, which are expected to come in favour of BJP. As the RSS had welcomed the announcement, VHP will also follow suit. The cadres will work with a rejuvenated will and vigor. In the inevitability of BJP winning Gujarat & Himachal Pradesh, the Adwani-Modi combination will stare dangerously at the UPA-Left combine, which are responsible & accountable for absolute "Non-Governance" for the last three and a half years. This will force the Left to withdraw its "withdrawal threat". As the Left front is already waning in West Bengal & Kerala, the so-called UNPA will vanish in thin air. A victory in Gujarat & Himachal Pradesh will steady the BJP boats in MP and Rajastan and Karnataka is expected to have a majority government run by BJP. DMK & AIADMK may fight it out to join NDA and a similar scene may be expected in UP between Maya & Mulayam. Chandrababu Naidu & Mamta Banerjee will shamelessly get back to NDA. JD (U), BJD and Akali Dal are already there strongly with BJP. The position of NCP & RJD will be pathetic, particularly for Lalu, who is embroiled in a flurry of legal cases. The Indian Political Scene will be very interesting to watch in the coming days!

L.K.Advani:BJP's PM candidate. We welcome and whole-heartedly support the candidature of SriL.K.Advani as BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate. I would like to state that initially I was also offended like other Hindus with Sri Advani, not for saying that Jinnah was secular, but because he did not care to explain his statement to the people.Actually there was nothing wrong in what Sri Advani said. The fact is that Jinnah having been a non-practising muslim, was not a staunch muslim/islamist. Having been in the freedom struggle long before Nehru appeared on the scene, he nursed the ambition of becoming the PM of India. But his hopes were dashed when Gandhiji supported Nehru to be the PM of India. He had stated till then that India should be a secular state- " you follow your religion and I'll follow mine. TheState shall not interfere in the religious affairs of the people."This is what Jinnah had said. Does not that qualify him to be asecularist? The leaders of free India have distorted secularism tosuch an extent that today they are brazenly practising anti-Hinduism.Anyway,why then did Jinnah become a hardliner? When it was clear to him that he stood no chance of becoming the PM of free India, he advocated partition of India and wanted a separate state for the muslims. He died of cancer the very next year. But the fact remains that he had advocated secularism. So, what Sri Advani had said is true. The only thing he should have done is to explain this to the people who had misgivings and misunderstood his observation onJinnah in Pakistan.I therefore request my Hindu brothers and sisters to understand this point and extend their full support to Sri Advani and thereby support the larger Hindu Cause. Sri Advani has devoted his life to Hindutvacause for a long period. It is in the fitness of things that he should be offerred the PM's post now. He is 80yrs old, and we must respect our elderly statesman. Sri Narendra Modi's turn will come. He is a symbol of Hindu Pride. At present he is happy to serve his Gujarat. Infact he is obsessed about it. Let him first do all he wants for Gujarat. Then he will occupy centre-stage. All of us should express our solidarity with our leaders. We should take care not to createrift, lest it be misused by our opponents.I have this to say to BJP leaders. Dr.Subramaniam Swamy is acourageous and capable leader espousing Hindutva. He had filedseveral cases against the wily and wicked Sonia. Had BJP supported him, she would not have grown to this stature and become a force to reckon with. It was the BJP leadership which unwittingly allowed the growth of Sonia and her son. BJP should fully support Dr Swamy atleast now, so that this 'Italian mafia' is banished from our soil.Jai Hind! Vande Mataram! With warm regards to one and all,Vijayalakshmi(& family).

We want Shri. Advani of 90'sDear Brothers,Namaste!!Happy to hear BJP’s announcement that Mr. Lal Krishna Advani will be the prime ministerial candidate for the next general election and let us hope the next prime minister of India. Mr. L K Advani born in Karachi on 8th Nov 1927 is considered as a strong advocacy of Hindutva and has brought about a sea change in the country in 90’s by Shri. Ram Mandir movement. But unfortunately it was not the same Advani that we saw in June 2005 when he made his visit to Pakistan where he praised Muhammad Ali Jinnah while visiting his mausoleum in Karachi by saying "Jinnah's August 1947 vision was secular" and his comments after that about RSS and Sangh Parivar. The present need of BJP and our nation is the Advani whom we saw in 90’s and not a Secular Advani who make’s his statements which is only to hold the power and to make a self image. So we request Mr. Lal Krishna Advani, Mr. Rajnath Singh and the BJP as a whole to be a Hindutva party and come up with the same election agenda of 90’s. We wish you all the best and the whole nation is with you.Note: Hindu is not a religion it’s a way of life. There is a land between river Sindhu and an ocean [Hindmahasagar/Indian ocean ] called Bharatand those who consider this land as their father land [ land of their ancestors] and /or holy place[ land of pilgrimage /Punya bhoomi] are all Hindus.
Tathagata Mukherjee 10/12/2007 19:16:05
The formal coming out of age of the prodigious son of HindutvaIts the formal coming out of age of the prodigious son of Hindutva. Shri Advani was always there at the helms of the affairs, but this annoitation was needed to bring sharper focus to the mis-deeds of anti-national UPA.Let Bhagawan give all his blessings to Shri Advani, who in the last 1000 years of Indian history, has shown what Hindu unity can achieve. We also should not forget the contribution of AB Vajpayee."The day hindus unite, hindu muslim problem will be solved in a day "- thus spoke Sarat Chandra Chatterjee, pre-eminent Indian Novelist. Its happening- but its pace needs to be hastened.

Hindutva will win in Gujarat : Exit Polls

11/12/2007 14:53:26 HKGUJARAT : Various exist polls conducted by national channels including anti Hindu channel NDTV today predicts Narendra Modi is all set to retain power in Gujarat for the third time. Though the exit polls shows Modi may loose 10-15 seats as compared to last election its almost certain BJP would easily capture the power in the state. The overall projection of Star News is 115 seats for the BJP, 64 for Congress and 3 for others. In South Gujarat, BJP maintain their 2002 poll tally winning 14, the exit poll said.

Kick out the failed swayamsevaks
If BJP is defeated, it would have been only because of rebels. In this context we have to take Advani as a model. Though after his Pakistan trip he was criticized and removed from his post, he bore everything patiently because he never lost faith in Sangha. This is the hallmark of a true swayamsevak. But look at Keshubhai Patel. To defeat one man he goes against the whole party. If he was so sore with Narendra Modi he could have contested against him. But a coward that he is, he did not do it. Instead he played upon his caste constituency. As a swayamsevak he should never have nurtured a caste constituency. Let us identify failed swayamsevaks and kick them out from the party.

Sabarimala Crisis-Kummanam seek intervention of Governor & Military help

11/12/2007 12:10:32 HKThiruvananthapuram:
Day by day, the condition of Sabarimala pilgrimage is dilapidating due to the irresponsibility and inefficiency of Devaswom Ministry and its Devaswom Board. Governor should immediately intervene and take necessary action to restore proper management in Sabarimala, Demanded Hindu Aikya Vedi General Secretary Kummanam Rajasekharan. As Kerala Government and Devaswom board proved to be an utter failure, Governor should seek Army’s help in crisis management. Crowd Management specialist of Military services should be called in as day by day the number of Devotees coming for holy pilgrimage is increasing. It is for the first time such an inefficient management was seen in Sabarimala. Thousands of devotees returned back without Darsan is first time in the History. Water Scarcity and lack of sanitation facilities forces extra burden on the devotees. Devaswom Minister never bothered to visit the Temple and tried to understand the crisis in Sabarimala. The Devaswom president is making irresponsible statements and justifying his faults without any concern for the Devotees problems. Board members should resign and apologize to the devotees owing responsibility for the grave mismanagement.

K.Venugopal 12/12/2007 03:33:55
Declare Sabarimala a semi-autonomous and holy region
I think the inevitable has happened. Insincere people have got on to the management team at Sabarimala, appointed by greedy politicians with an eye on easy money. Worse, many are actually anti-Hindu and wish to tarnish the image of Sabarimala. The only long term solution is to demand from the Central Government release of large tracts of forest lands and build massive infrastructures with toilet facilities, round the clock water, subsidized food and stay facilities. Also, the entire area surrounding Sannidhanam should be divided into sectors and it must be announced that devotees would be released into Sannidhanam area from the main gates of these sectors only at particular times. This way devotees would know at which sector to queue up for darshan according to timings of their convenience. Indeed, the whole area of Sabarimala must be declared a semi-autonomous and holy region. Tantris must also consider whether new temples can be consecrated on the 18 hills of the Poongavanam so that Sabarimala would be a round-theyear pilgrimage centre for all devotees.

Rajdeep Sardesai insults Gujarati Women

12/12/2007 00:45:15 HKAHMEDABAD: Rajdeep Sardesai who bared the brunt of Narendra Modi’s rhetoric in a talk show seems to lose all his senses after the news of possible victory of BJP and Modi in Gujarat. In the most irresponsible statement made by a Journalist, This Anti Hindu insulted Gujarathi women in his remark “women of Gujarat favour Modi because they find more sex appeal in Modi”. In CNN-IBN’s News on Gujarat Election analysis, He made this comment. . It’s a clear insult not only Gujarati women but also to Bharatheeya culture and whole womanhood.Rajdeep Sardesai who born in Gujrat itself must have coined this remark based on the nature of women in his family. Will he dare to make such a comment about the victory of Sonia Maino in Rae Bareilly similar to this? Does he feel that people watch the programs of his wife Sagarika Ghosh due to her sex appeal?Recently a group of Jihadi’s in Kozhikode , Kerala gave him an award for his Anti Hindu stands taken on various issues.

I hate to say this, but it's almost as if Na Mo has a certain sex appeal among certain section of the people. There is a machismo, the Hindutva machismo of Na Mo has been appealing to women....."

Rajdeep, don't be a clone of Western valuesSex-appeal is common parlance when talking about famous personalities in the West. Rajdeep's comments may have been apt for CNN's American audience. But he ought to remember that IBN is the Indian avataar of CNN and he ought to be sensitive to cultural values here. Further, associating sex-appeal to a person who is basically a Sangha pracharak is mischievous. Rajdeep’s audience may be English speaking but they may not be necessarily sold out to Western cultural values.
