Faizabad : BJP will ensure that Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru is hanged if the party is voted to power in the next general elections, a senior leader said.
"Guru will be hanged the same day, the day when our Government will take oath," party's national general secretary Vinay Katiyar said, expecting a majority BJP Government after next general election in 2009.
On the land issue of Amarnath shrine board, Katiyar said Jammu and Kashmir Government revoked the transfer of land under pressure from the terrorists and separatists groups.

Bravo! KatiyarI agree with you, Vaisakhanji. But hanging Afzal Mohammad (using the word Guru against his name is to cast a slur on the very word)the very first thing BJP comes to power would send out the message that we mean business.

BJP's prioritiesHanging Afzal Guru should not be the first priority of BJP govt. BJP govt's priority should be:1. Scrap Article 370 and bring in Kashmir on par with other states in India.2. Introduce a common civil code for all Indians irrespective of their region, religion, caste, creed or color.3. Expel all illegal immigrants from Bangladesh (3 crores?) and take measures to bring in hapless hindus from Bangladesh & Porkistan.4. Abolish madrassas where the terror manual is taught to young impressionable minds; instead impart secular education to the children there.5. Stop Hajj subsidy; since no such concessions are given to other religionists stopping Hajj subsidy is a reasonable demand.6. Each and every citizen should be treated equally viz. law of the land.
