Everyone seems spineless in front of Muslim threats. Even the Rajasthan Govt. was not interested in protecting her. The claim that she has insulted Islam through her book Lajja is false. She has only depicted the helpless position of Hindus in Bangladesh. Even here the backdrop is the destruction of Babri Masjid. As a woman who wrote "Let another name for religion be humanism", she is not a mere author - she is a sage. All persons who value the freedom to speak the truth should rally around her. Those who don't will one day be judged to be discredited worms.

Re: Scared of Jihadi's, Commies planning to expel Taslima
Today's news is that Taslima has been shifted to Rajasthan! The commie scoundrels, who are arrogant with Hindu sentiments, crawl like worms in front of the Jihadis. They will not dare to even criticize an islamist father marrying and impregnating his own daughter! The state of West Bengal(Waste Bengal)has very few regular Govt schools, especially in rural areas. The education portfolio(as in Kerala)is invariably in the hands of a muslim minister; so he prefers to set up madarasas, where children of other communities are forced to attend, in the absence of regular Govt schools. Little wonder that muslims in Bengal are backward. Atleast in Kerala, most of the muslims have managed to attain literacy and economic prosperity. Most of the Bengali muslims are backward, because they are not interested in studies and engage in businesses. Many of them are anti-socials and smugglers. No Sachar can help the people who do not want education. It is the Bengal Govt which is responsible for not setting up Govt schools, which could have enabled them to join the national mainstream. As things now stand, commies have to crawl before the jihadis in their unreasonable demand.Taslima only described and condemned the harassment meted out to women, especially Hindu women by the backward muslims. That is what her book 'Lajja'(Shame)speaks of. She is actually a humanitarian and secular writer. If our Govt cannot defend/protect her,it's a shame!

Re: Scared of Jihadi's, Commies planning to expel Taslima
Most curious, isn't it - that the muslim leaders are more concerned about whether or not Taslima, the Bangladeshi writer, should stay in India, than about their women being molested and killed by the communist brigade in Nandigram. Reveals the level of Islam's ideas on the right and wrong. It is a testimony to the fact that Islam treats women as secondary citizens and thus unworthy of any attention and concern. The muslim heads have far more ''important'' issues to worry and protest about - a writer's residential location - that about the plight of their women and children in Nandigram in the hands of the communists. Sad...sad...sad..
