"Vote-beggars" can be "Choosers"!

"Vote-beggars" can be "Choosers"!11/9/2007 7:42:10 AM B.R.HaranI have not come across in both the print & electronic media, the "Diwali Greetings" issued by the Presdient's office and the PMO.Have You?"Vote-beggars" can be "Choosers"!The people of South India celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights yesterday and the people of North India celebrate today. First time in the history of independent India, the President & the Prime minister failed to greet the people for this important occasion, which is outrageous and atrocious. The President, who came to power without denying or disproving the flurry of allegations heaped on her during the period of electioneering, had only the strength of numbers as 'credits' and nothing else as creditworthy. The Prime Minister, who had the gumption to say that he had spent sleepless nights on seeing the plight of the families of terrorists & terror suspects, unfortunately didn't have the basic courtesy to greet the people on this festival, which is celebrated by the 85% majority people. The majority community never cares about the 'foreigners' and hence it is irrelevant for them whether the UPA Chairperson greets or not. As both the President and the Prime Minister had failed in their basic democratic responsibility and courtesy, they have lost the moral right to continue in their offices and hence they must resign immediately. With regards to Tamil Nadu, the Tamil people belonging to the majority community have celebrated Diwali as usual with fun and fanfare yesterday showcasing the world that they are united and integrated with the people of the rest of the country. Baring the leaders of AIADMK, BJP and the Congress, none of the others had the decency to greet the Tamil people on this great occasion. These leaders, who always attempt to separate the people from the rest of the other Indians, in the name of Tamil, failed yet again to share the happiness of their own people by greeting them.Beggars cannot be choosers, but these "vote-beggars" can be, and they always choose only the 'minorities', while shamelessly enjoying the power because of the votes of the majority. These vote-beggars always crawl at the feet of the minority people for the sake of votes while treating the people of majority community with utmost contempt.None of the media, both print & electronic, have carried the greetings of the President's office, PMO and the central and state governments and it is a disgrace that these leaders have failed in their democratic & moral duty! What an exhibition of secularism! Shame on these leaders! What they have done is unpardonable!

While I am an admirer of Shri B.R. Haran for his marvelleous writings for the Hindu cause, I must point out that the PM had indeed wished the nation on Deepavali. The following I got from the PM's site on the net. It is incumbent of eminent persons like Shri B.R. Haran not to jump to conclusions just because the papers he reads did not publish the PM's greetings. He ought to have browsed the net to get the facts. Attack anti-Hindu positions, but attack with facts. I was on the brink of writing to the PM on site http://pmindia.nic.in/write.htm, going by Shri Haran’s words. Fortunately I thought it best to check the net first. In the endeavour I stumbled upon the PM’s site. I have also confirmed that President’s and PM’s greetings were reported prominently in Hindustan Times.
PM Greets the Nation on DeepawaliNovember 8, 2007New Delhi
The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh greeted the nation on the joyous occasion of Deepawali. In a message the Prime Minister said: “The festival of lights, Deepawali, is a festival which is a harbinger of joy, happiness and prosperity”. It celebrates the victory of good over evil, of knowledge over ignorance and of light over darkness. It is a national festival in which all communities rejoice and contribute to promoting brotherhood and camaraderie.May this Deepawali bring peace and prosperity to the people of our nation, to our neighbours and the world at large”

Re: "Vote-beggars" can be "Choosers"! No wonder. In our country the vote hunters who target minority votes trying to remove any Hindu symbols for appeasement. In Kerala we remember including ministers some people tried to avoid some traditional artforms in School youth festival in the name of ‘Secularism’. True nationalists should take initiative to organize a new generation who admire Hindutva.

Re: "Vote-beggars" can be "Choosers"! Does Hindhus have the guts to vote in a Hindhu political party to power? I guess not! We are destined to whine!Ironically, living in Kerala, even the leaders are not focussed enough for the cause! Pity!

Re: "Vote-beggars" can be "Choosers"! THRASH THEM WITH CHAPPALS WHEREVER YOU SEE THEM! Dear Hindu brothers and sisters, this humiliation is unprecedented. Don't forgive your 'minority' enemy ruler and allow this torture even for your children. Finish them politically, rubbish them forever. Take oath that you will never cast them your vote anytime in future and will ONLY give your vote to Rightwing Hindus alone. Jai Shri Rmachandra ji ki. Jai Maha Kali Mata ki. Jai Bhajaranga Bali ki.
