Secularism and Civility under threat in J&K - Online Petition

03/07/2008 11:00:03

To, The President of India, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi 110001 5

Respected President,

Decision to revoke the allotment of 40-hectare forestland to the Shree Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) for development of facilities for pilgrims is a complete surrender to the fundamentalist and separatist forces. By revoking the allotment of this land, the Congress party has demonstrated that it is one with the fundamentalists in creating a theocratic environment in the Kashmir valley. Our petition to Your Excellency with great concern at the fast deteriorating socio-political situation of the state. Of particular concern is the rabidly communal stance and statements of the frontline political parties like PDP, the National conference, the CPI (M), in tango with separatists parties and the militant groups, has caused stern alarm to Crores of Hindus across country. An innocuous activity like Shri Amarnath Yatra has been mired into controversies and in effect hurdles are being created in its smooth conductance. Shri Amarnath is one of the most sacred pilgrimage centers of Hindus since times immortal. In the past since the eruption of militancy in the state hundreds of Yatris have sacrificed their lives and have fallen to terrorist bullets if that has not deterred the determination of Yatris to visit Shri Amarnath, now it is in the from of ideological opposition to the yatra been seen. The protagonists of this vicious tirade dub the holy Amarnath Yatra as a cultural invasion of Kashmir affecting its ecology, cultural identity and demography. To this effect these people have been issuing highly inflammatory communal statements causing hurt and anguish to a billion Hindus world over. Ecological damage Kashmir has suffered is as a result of illegal felling of trees by land mafia in connivance with corrupt administration over the years. The systematic reclamation of water bodies and continuous flow of waste materials into lakes like the famous Dal Lake and uncontrolled construction activity rather than the Amarnath Yatra. The much touted Kashmiriyat stands thoroughly exposed which is nothing but a smokescreen to camouflage the communal fangs. In so far as the so called demographic change of Kashmir is concerned, yes it has taken place; the entire population of Kashmiri Hindus was driven out on the basis of faith making them refugees in their own country. Your Excellency Congress is the ruling party it has remained mute spectator to the happenings around. The gains of our valiant security forces are being frittered away at the cost of political pragmatism. Your Excellency in this hour of crisis your personal intervention alone would save the democracy, secularism and civility are under serious threat in Jammu and Kashmir. Prepare for the greatest Amarnath Yatra in historyWe can now see clearly the valiant Hindus of Jammu fighting for the cause of Hinduism and the Indian nationhood. We must boost their morale by agitating for Amarnath land to be restored. The VHP, who have proved masterly in chalking out programmes step-by-step in the Ramjanmabhoomi agitation till success was achieved, must now chalk out programmes step-by-step involving all the Hindus of the country so that by the time of the Amarnath Yatra next year, lakhs of Hindus would be on their way to Amarnath and all sorts of facilities would be in place to ensure the safety of the pilgrims. Since general elections are also due before the next Amarnath Yatra, we must ensure that the pro-Hindu (nationalistic) BJP comes to power at the centre to facilitate the greatest and most successful Amarnath Yatra in history.

presidentOne must realise that the present occupant of the Rashtrapathi Bhavan is a puppet of the secular parivar. In spite of the shady past, the lady was posted hoisted to the position of the first person of this unfortunate country. The president is expected to repay her debts to the secular parivar once the parliament election results are published.

Kashmir-A veritable HellIf the Muslims of Kashmir decide tha t their land shall be a Muslim Paradise,(Hell for other religious communities), then we shall give them what they want and they deserve? Rape and plunder the land of Kashmir, destroy its forests, minestrip the mountains of Kashmir for rocks and stones, pollute the rivers and lakes of Kashmir such that the oxygen index in the water bodies goes below the sustaining levels, make the general climate of Kashmir such that it turns into a veritable desert, with out no air conditioning cool climate. Make the land a veritable desert unable to support anything but scavengers(fox, lizards), snakes , cactii and nomads(Bedouins). LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST DESTROY IT THOROUGHLY!!! I PARAPHRASE WHAT MULLAH JEHANGIR SAID. IF THERE IS A VERITABLE HELL ON EARTH, KASHMIR IT IS, KASHMIR IT IS, KASHMIR IT IS.

What a Sorry Criminal Attiude by Hindu SpectatorsSo much injustice and so much cruel carnage and ethnic cleansing of hindus has been going on in this state ghost state ever since 1947 and it is a callous crime of majority hindus and their political parties that they have NOT bothered to protest nationally and internationally for so long! Why? can one give an answer to this callous indifference? Who are the Blame? The anti-hindu and mulsim appeasing congress leaders who have ruled the country over 50 years as well as the BJP,VHP, RSS and all hindu organization who have been watching this cruel spectacle and dling nothing. It is also a mystery why hindus in India have not reacted or protested when lakhs of their counter part kafir hindus in Pakistan have been butchered, tortured and brutally killed and forcibly converted by the barbarian muslim majority all these 60 years. The blame must go to hindu community in India as a whole for being a mute spectator watching all these killings and terrorism as if they were watching a bollywood cinema or watching video killing games. What sorry grim spectacle! Cry,cry my beloved countrymen and my beloved mother country

Give Hindus equal rights in HindustanEvery city in India boasts of a Haj house where facilities are extended to the yatris of the Haj pilgrimage. The land for each of these has been provided by the state and grants have been given for their construction. During Haj season, the airports make special arrangements. Thousands of crores of taxpayers money is spent on it. Nobody objects to it. Only a year ago, the BJP government in Rajasthan allotted prime land in Jaipur for the Haj house and funds for its construction. No one heard a murmur of protest from the Hindus on the government largesse. Every pilgrim, whatever his faith, is respected in this country. This is not the place for counting the good deeds and the bad reciprocations. This occasion calls for the condemnation of an attitude, not only of the separatists but also of the so-called political parties committed to the values of democracy and secularism enshrined in our Constitution. To say that the PDP is raking up this issue with an eye on the forthcoming assembly elections is viewing the matter in too simplistic terms. The design is more sinister. They want to erase the Hindu heritage of Kashmir. PDP leader Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and his daughter have earlier also demanded that the Amarnath Yatra should be held at abeyance for “sometime”. They play crass communal politics. Few months ago they demanded Pak currency in Kashmir. They often work hand in glove with the separatists. And they happen to be the bosom friends of Sonia Gandhi. The CPM and the NC are not far behind in stoking communal divide in the Valley.

We need- "The Second Indian Independence War".For Hindus, it is high time to initiate the “Second War of Independence” against the “Mughal Emperors” currently ruling us. The Hindu culture is under threat in a nation where 80% of the population are Hindus. If we can’t prevent these Mughals from looting all the virtues of our motherland, I will not be eligible to call myself as a Hindu. Be it the brutal attacks on Hindu pilgrims in Bengal, the temple customs destruction in Kerala, the Hindu abusing going on in Tamil Nadu and the christianization of Temples in Andhra Preadesh.., everywhere Hindu Dharma is being destroyed before our very own eyes. Now, it is not the time to exhibit any further compassion. No further sympathy. Every minute being lost means, that much soil under our feet is getting eroded away. It is our obligation to throw all the Communist Islamist Party and the Congress Islamic party scoundrels into Arabian Sea.We shall restore the Hindu Rashtra. We have the viable models to follow which the great Shivaji Maharaj has shown. Which the kings of Vijayanagara have shown. The Second war for Indian independence should begin for the sake of our Motherland. Else the fingers of future generations will be pointed towards us as the responsibles for the destruction of Hindu Dharma. We shall begin the great “Second Indian Independence War”.Against the Mughal rulers in Delhi. Against the Mughals in Kashmir, Kerala, Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Against all those anti-national turncoats.Jai Sri Ram...!!!----------Vikram Ambalapuzha

Crush the terrorists - Army chief General Deepak Kapoor on Thursday said the possibility of some Kashmiri militants joining the ranks of Taliban and al-Qaida could not be discounted since jehadi mentality knew no national boundaries. "The possibility of some Kashmiri militants being part of Taliban or al-Qaida cannot be ruled out, considering that the outfits are based on certain amount of fundamentalism and jehadist tendency," said Gen Kapoor. "The fact is that when insurgency in J&K was at its peak, we knew of a number of militants with foreign nationalities, besides our neighbour, operating here," he said. Adding that when militants get into "a radicalised or fundamentalist mode", they "do not worry about national boundaries", the Army chief said even now the assessment was that 40-50% of militants currently operating in Kashmir were of foreign origin. "If there are foreign militants operating in Kashmir, there is always this possibility of some Kashmiri militants operating with Taliban and al-Qaida in Afghanistan or anywhere else," he said. The security forces, meanwhile, have stepped up their vigil to thwart the expected upsurge in violence and infiltration in J&K in the run-up to the assembly polls there later this year. An indicator of this was seen on Wednesday when as many as 11 militants were killed on the Line of Control while they were trying to infiltrate into J&K. While holding that violence had declined by around 50% in J&K due to effective counter-insurgency operations, Gen Kapoor said, "But militants may try to create trouble. It's important that the state remains peaceful and safe. The state elections will be an important benchmark in J&K's return to normalcy."
