Congress workers float Hindu front11/17/2007 2:44:03 AM http://news.webindia123.comNew Delhi:
A group of Congress workers has floated a "Secular Hindu Front" to highlight the "alienation" of the Hindu community from the party.Front Convener K Ravi Kumar said in a statement here today that the forum would organise an all India Conference in December this year.In an open letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, a copy of which was released here today, he said the party should make clear its stand on "Ram Setu, " while warning it against continuing with its alliance with the DMK. In this context, he suggested that the party engaged itself with the AIADMK in Tamil Nadu to avoid the embarrassment caused by the DMK on the Ram Setu issue. The letter highlighted the "raw deal" meted out to Hindu workers and leaders of the Congress in the party's organisational hierarchy.

We must assign a few of our workers to interact and keep track of these congress workers to see if theirs is a genuine change of heart or merely a posturing by Congress to appease Hindu voters.
